September 17th 2022, For young people aged 8-17
Weather permitting
Ever wondered what your neighborhood looks like from the sky? Or maybe you’re curious how airplanes even work. You might even dream about being a pilot.
If you’re nodding your head “Yes” and are between the ages of 8 and 17, you’re ready to take a free Young Eagles flight and see what real pilots do on the ground and in the air
After two years off, the EAA, Young Eagles, program is back, for our 30th Anniversary, at Driggs Airport. Young Eagles is the only program of its kind, dedicated to giving youth ages 8–17 their first free ride in an airplane. To date we have introduced over two million kids into the world of aviation.
Where : Warbirds parking lot
Time: 8:30am to 12:30pm
We will have a food truck, flight simulators and access to the Warbirds museum to keep people busy while they wait to fly.
